THE STORY BEHIND THE SWING

Country dancing has been part of our story from the very beginning—it’s actually how we met.

We’re Clark and Tori, a husband-and-wife team with nearly a decade of experience in country swing. What started as something we each loved became an important part of our story together, and for the past three years, we’ve had the opportunity to share that same joy with others through teaching.

For us, country dancing has never just been about learning the steps. It’s about the energy in the room, laughing through the mistakes, connecting with the person across from you, and watching someone go from standing on the sidelines to not wanting to leave the dance floor.

That’s what inspired Lone Star Nights. We wanted to take the joy we’ve found through country dancing and bring it beyond the dance hall—directly to weddings, reunions, retreats, and events where people are already coming together. We believe the best dance floors don’t start with everyone knowing how to dance. They start with a few people willing to lead the way.
